Allie Feidt served as an environment sector volunteer in the central region of Malawi from 2015-2017. She was partnered with the Department of Forestry to work on reforestation and food security projects in a rural community bordered by a 65 square mile forest reserve. In addition to the work in her community, she was a coordinator for an Environmental Education program, and helped to organize and implement 5 camps and workshops for youth throughout Malawi.
Before Peace Corps, she graduated from Western Washington University and had an AmeriCorps internship in Olympia, Washington. Since closing her Peace Corps service, she relocated to Minnesota and has been busy getting to know the Midwest.
