Secretary & Community Service
Amy Soukup served as a Community Development Volunteer in Albania from January, 2018 to December, 2018. Amy’s service was cut short due to medical issues that resulted in medical separation.
While she worked closely with her primary counterpart and colleagues in the local municipality her primary focus was youth development. Amy provided local youth with resources for personal and professional development, opportunities to engage with local government and voice their concerns, share ideas and have dialogues with other youth, and increase civic engagement. Fun fact: did you know that Albania has the highest number of cafes per inhabitants in the world?
Prior to serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, Amy served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Austin, Texas. She worked as a case manager and administrative assistant in a transitional housing program for families. Amy has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Bethel University.
Amy currently works at a leadership consulting firm in Minneapolis. Amy is pleased to join the board as the secretary and co-chair of community service. You can contact Amy at Secretary@mnrpcv.org or firstname.lastname@example.org.
