Want to be a Mentor?

If you are an RPCV who is already active with MNRPCV:
Send an email to [email protected] to let us know which type of activities and roles you would be comfortable filling to assist with these important connections. We will then add you to our roster and call on you occasionally to serve as a mentor or get together socially with those who need us!

List of possible roles/activities:

• Connect with an invitee from your country of service
• Job search mentor
• Social events “buddy” – go along with newly-returned PCV to an MNRPCV event and introduce him/her to others at the event
• Coffee/lunch with new RPCV once in a while to discuss how it’s going
• Connect with applicants or prospective PCVs
• Connect with parents of prospective or currently-serving PCVs
• Assist PC recruiter at recruitment activities
• Provide support to PCVs who terminate service early – evacuations, medical separations, etc.
• Engage new RPCV in an activity – biking, running, exploring parks, going to play, concert or festival
