Regular Social Events

Annual Membership Meeting & Potluck Picnic: 

​Held in late August, this picnic is when the board summarizes their work over the year and for members to elect a new board. This is the best time to renew your membership or become a member. Bring a dish or two to share if you're comfortable with that.

Happy Hours & Metro Dinners: 

​Monthly gatherings around the Cities, these are great events to attend if you are new to the area or a recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer. Come and enjoy food, beverages, and fellow MNRCPV stories!  Each month typically has both a happy hour and metro dinner. Look on Facebook or the MNRPCV website for details regarding these events.

Annual Holiday Party: 
​
The biggest MNRPCV event of the year! Minnesota Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, with their friends and family, come together and enjoy a traditional potluck. Typically  in December or January, this event is a great place to meet new or recently returned MNRPCV members. Stick around for the always fun Peace Corps themed geography quiz!

Ski Weekend: 
A yearly Minnesota Returned Peace Corps Volunteer winter get away weekend near Park Rapids, MN! The weekend is filled with activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, cooking (and eating!), board games and puzzles, and general relaxation.
