Bethany served as a Community Development Health volunteer in the Kingdom of Swaziland from 2011-2013. She worked with a rural community towards reducing the incidence of HIV and decreasing stigma around health related topics. Additionally, she worked with many East and Central African populations, within a refugee camp that resided within her community, on various community development projects. Since returning from service, Bethany has earned a Masters degree in Comparative and International Development Education, has worked in philanthropic giving within the non-profit sector, and has been able to return to Swaziland twice, spending an additional 3.5 months embracing the beautiful Swazi lifestyle.
Bethany joined MNRPCV in 2013, and is serving for the first time on the Board as Co-Vice President and Community Service Chair for 2017-2018. She looks forward to engaging within her community in various ways, both in service and in friendship!
