Community ServicePaul spent 3 years teaching biology and health science in Malaysian Borneo (71-73), After he travelled the globe before coming home to a career of teaching 2nd grade in rural Wisconsin and inner city Mpls.
Along the way working with Save the Children, RESULTS (hunger lobby group), Citizens’ Climate Lobby CCL) and starting Cool Planet to support, fitness, well being and encourage citizen engagement. Paul is the current Legend (70 +) World Overall Flying Disc (Frisbee) Champion, is skiing his 40th Birkie (cross country ski marathon) and still trying to shoot his age in “ball golf.” "Health is wealth” is Paul’s mantra and you will find him outside when he’s not connecting people and groups on his computer or in the neighborhood to preserve and celebrate our wondrous planet. He is married to Mindy Ahler, the Regional Co-ordinator for the North Wind Region of CCL. |
