Ursula served in Albania from 2017 to 2019 in the Community and Organizational Development sector as an Urban Planner. Her focus was community planning with the municipality but also worked with the local high school on many initiatives including starting a youth board to work with the municipal council. The new family she gained with her host family was the highlight of her service.

​Ursula has worked and lived many places but is originally from Des Moines, IA and now lives in Minneapolis working with HUD as a Community Planning and Development Representative. She moved to the twin cities during the pandemic and has been enjoying the cities opening up again so she can learn about what they have to offer. She’s very excited to get involved in new Peace Corps related activities and looks forward to meeting many new RPCVs in the area.
